The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission (ACQSC) is responsible for granting approval for providers to deliver aged care services, administering the Serious Incidents Response Scheme, reducing the use of restrictive practices and resolve complaints about services. ACQSC’s purpose is to protect and improve the safety, health, wellbeing and quality of life of people receiving Australian funded aged care.
